DESCRIPTION:NEW BRAUNFELS    The Comal County office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is offering a one-day refresher course and certification for food managers.\n\n \n\nThe course will feature information about food safety and sanitation\, food flow and hazard analysis critical control plans\, and operation management. Upon successful completion of the course and passage of the exam\, students will be certified professional food managers.\n\n \n\n"State law requires that every establishment that prepares food have at least one certified food manager\," said Connie Sheppard\, Comal County extension agent for family and consumer sciences. "This is an excellent opportunity for county residents who need it to make sure they get their license."\n\n \n\nThe class will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday\, Feb. 10 at the Comal County Extension Office\, 325 Resource Drive\, New Braunfels. Registration is $115 and must be paid by Friday\, Feb 3.\n\n \n\nStudents must bring an acceptable photo ID\, such as a driver's license\, passport or military ID\, to the class in order to take the exam.
