12th Annual Book & Author Luncheon
Description
The Friends of the Bulverde Spring Branch Library's 12th annual Book and Author event is just around the corner, March 8, from 11:30 - 2:30. We are honored this year to be hosting our event at the Tejas Rodeo's event center “Western Sky Wedding and Event Venue".
The plated lunch will be catered by True Flavors (aka Johnny Hernandez family of restaurants). Southwest Airlines has generously donated $800 worth of tickets to support our silent auction which will also include a beautiful handcrafted quilt, a helicopter ride, dine around basket, and many other amazing items donated by local businesses and generous members.
Our program emcee is year is Nan Cuba, author, founder and executive director of Gemini Ink, and teacher and writer in residence at Our Lady of the Lake University.
Guest authors include Jay Brandon, David Liss, Barbara Dean Hendricks, and Nora McKey. If you have not attended this event before, you will be amazed at the high quality program in store for you.
Twig Book Shop will be selling books by the hosted authors who will be available to sign them. The proceeds from this event will go towards outfitting the children’s area as we enhance our library.

Cost of the ticket is $60 per person of which $30 is a tax deductible contribution. Seating is not reserved unless you purchase a "table for 8". Tickets are available online if you wish to use a credit card (fees apply) or at the circulation desk for cash/check.
