Description
Join the Friends of the Library for this literary event featuring three wonderful authors:
- Marian McCarthy - "Beneath the Wild Blue" - a fictional book on growing up as a military brat in the 50's
- Bryant Boutwell, Dr. P.H. - "I'm Dr. Red Duke" - about an icon of twentieth-century medicine, a pioneer and visionary, and a lifelong son of Texas
- Joe Nick Patoski - " Austin to ATX: the hippies, pickers, slackers, and geeks who transformed the capital of Texas" - a look at how Austin evolved into the unique city it is today
?Tickets are $50 and will go on sale January 21 through February 3, 2020. Purchase at the library or online with credit card (fees/tax on fees apply)
