George Freitag, Texas Water Utilities
"Water saving tips for your home or business."

George Freitag has over 40 years of experience in water and wastewater utility functions. He has been with Texas Water Utilities as the Texas Regulatory Manager for approximately twelve years. Prior to coming to TWU, he worked for several years as a private consultant and before that he was with the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, now the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ”) and the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
He has bachelor’s degrees in engineering from Mississippi State University and in business from the University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas. His trade association memberships include the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
