Day of Services & Back to School Outreach - hosted by the SBB Lions Club and City of Bulverde

The Spring Branch-Bulverde Lions Club is proud to host the 4th annual Day of Services & Back to School Outreach--A day for local service providers, ministries, nonprofits, and businesses to give back! 
The event is open to the public, with the target audience of those neighbors in the community who may need a little help in affording some of the back-to-school basics for their kiddos. 
We hope to serve more than 300 children (in grades K through 8) this year and provide free backpacks, school supply basics, haircuts, health screenings, and other goodies. There will also be a veterinarian there to offer low-cost vaccinations for pets, the Wellness on Wheels trailer will be there with the crew doing blood pressure and glucose screenings; the CCSO will be there to provide child safety kits for kids of all ages; and the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will be there doing a PLATELET and Whole Blood Drive.

Donations of backpacks and school supplies will be accepted through the third week in July.

Any member of the SBB Lions Club will be happy to accept your donations in person, as well, if you have a friend or neighbor who in in the Club.

All school supplies and services are "first come, first served," while supplies last.
