Kindred Hospice Sponsors Children's Grief Day Camp July 19-20
Kindred Hospice is sponsoring a FREE children's grief day camp - Down by the Riverside - for children ages 7-12 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Open to children across central Texas, Down by the Riverside, a grief and loss day camp will take place July 19 and July 20 in San Marcos, Texas.
Camp activities and programs help children to express feelings, build confidence, foster a sense of community, and identify with other children and adolescents who are experiencing similar struggles. Camps are organized and operated by skilled professionals such as social workers, bereavement and spiritual care coordinators, and trained volunteers.
