Your are cordially invited to attend an Open House on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center, 30450 Cougar Bend, Bulverde, Texas, to talk about the future of Downtown Bulverde Village. The workshop is an opportunity for residents, business and property owners, and others interested in Downtown Bulverde to provide ideas and input that will help shape the future of the area. The workshop will be conducted in a come-and-go format with a formal presentation for the City Council and community at 5:30PM. Participants are welcome to attend the presentation and can interact individually or in small groups before or afterwards.
This is the second of two community workshops scheduled for the project. The overall study is assessing existing conditions (infrastructure and the natural environment); the supply and demand for various land uses and building types; and the community’s aspirations for Downtown Bulverde Village. At this workshop, participants will be asked for their opinion on preliminary concepts for land use, transportation, and urban design that were created based on the above, plus feedback from the first community workshop and the first online survey. Input from this second community workshop will be studied as the final recommendation is drafted for presentation to the City Council on January 13, 2015.
Interested persons are also encouraged to complete an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DowntownBulverdeVillageSurvey2 , which will remain open until October 31st. The survey is another opportunity for the community to share thoughts and ideas that will help create the vision for the Downtown Bulverde Village.
