Mother’s Day Belly dance Workshop Special

Looking for an opportunity to do something memorable for Mother’s Day?  Come try belly dancing! 

Join Sarah for this special female connection dance workshop.  Mothers and daughters and/or female figures and children ages 6 and up are welcome to participate in this 2 hour workshop.  All will learn basic belly dance movements and concepts while working together as a team with some fun and creative belly dance games! 

The workshop will not only bond and strengthen your own female relationship together, but also provide individual confidence for both maternal figures & younger females.  Enjoy the unique experience of trying something new, making some memories and most of all, having fun!   

All props will be provided or you can bring your own if you prefer.  Wear whatever you are comfortable in (yoga/athletic attire preferred) however no jeans please.  Bare feet or socks are best for feet.  All levels and abilities are welcome!  

Bio: 

Sarah Hummel has over 40 years of movement experience, earning her bachelors & master’s degree in dance.  While she has knowledge in many styles of dance, belly dance (Raqs Sharqi) provided her with not only a professional performing & teaching career but also thrusted her into a personal journey with body confidence, acceptance, love and growth. 

Her technical approach blended with the natural creativity the dance form bestows she creates an environment that welcomes all to explore their own unique gifts and abilities in a positive & supportive environment. She enjoys watching each dancer grow into more confident people, understanding that their bodies are a conduit to individual celebration!
