Join us for an afternoon to learn what your Roles and Responsibilities as a Director of a Nonprofit are.

 will cover roles and responsibilities, legal duties, board recruitment and retention, and board management skills.

Successfully directing and leading a nonprofit organization requires dedication to the mission and vision of the organization. It requires a strong sense of the needs of the community and how your organization meets those needs.

 
 

Rose Mary Fry's Consultant Expertise: Extensive nonprofit and for-profit expertise in nonprofit leadership, board governance, fundraising, staff training, consulting, facilitation, strategic planning, and human resources.  My prior experience as an Executive Director, Human Resources Director, Board Chair, and Board Member gives me a unique perspective in dealing with these issues.  My clients have ranged from small start-up organizations to mid and large-sized organizations throughout Texas.  My consulting and facilitation experience brings knowledgeable and practical solutions to a nonprofit organization.  With for profit Human Resources experience and nonprofit experience, I have a good understanding of how community sectors must work together.


For the past 39 years, she has conducted multiple board, staff, and nonprofit training sessions throughout Texas and the country.  In addition to public nonprofit training sessions, she has facilitated staff and board planning retreats for new and established nonprofit organizations.  In addition, she started the Texas Nonprofit Management Assistance Network, a statewide organization dealing with capacity builders throughout Texas.
