About the speaker: 

Mark de Kiewiet has always had a deep love of nature and spent much of his youth and early adulthood in the Southern African bush. Mark holds three University degrees in Engineering and Technical Management and provides system solutions to process and people problems.

 

He is a Master Beekeeper, Master Naturalist, presenter to the Master Gardener and Naturalist Certification Programs and a Keynote Speaker.  Mark has been a guest speaker at the International Organic beekeepers Conference, Earthday Conference and World Bee Day Conference.

Mark started the “Bees-in-the-East” club to provide a platform of mentors for aspiring Beekeepers and to promote a holistic approach to Nature conservation.  The club also provides educational programs and Apiary inspections for members.
