Description

Join Debbie Kyrouac as she speaks about the importance of native plants in our ecosystem and about the NICE! (Natives Instead of Common Exotics) program. This will also cover good plant choices for birds and butterflies plus deer resistant options.
 

About the speaker: 

Debbie Kyrouac is the current president of the Lindheimer chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas. She has a masters degree in Biology specializing in Ecology from Texas Tech.  Debbie has taught Biology classes at various colleges and universities for the past 35 yrs.  Since settling in San Antonio 11 yrs ago, she has become certified as a Texas Master Naturalist and is active in the Native Plant Society of Texas.
