Description

        The opportunity for citizens to identify the strengths and needs of their communities is the first step to understanding timely resources that improve the lives of Texans. This community assessment will allow you to name assets that currently add strength and energy to your community, while also naming needs that are not yet realized or fully available to you.

        Data from this assessment will be aggregated at a local level and provided to stakeholders in your community. This is not a grade for your community, but a snapshot that can be used to envision what is good and what is needed to improve our communities across Texas.

        Your response is important. To better serve communities across Texas, data will be aggregated at a state level and made available to various state agencies and decision makers with the intent of defining needed resources and services.
