Veterans Day Event

Please join us in honoring our veterans during the annual Veteran’s Day Observance at the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library on Friday, November 11th, beginning at 1:00 pm.

Guest speaker is Major Oscar Rodriquez, USMC. Major Rodriquez is the Operations Officer, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion. A reception will follow the ceremony.

Other participants include Rhonda Zunker (President Bulverde/Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce), Bella Russo, Smithson Valley High School Naval Junior ROTC, Spring Branch Middle School Band, and the Bill Brown Elementary School Choir.

Names of local veterans will be posted in the library during November, as well as Sherry Sorbera’s Fallen Texas Heroes quilt and art displayed from Smithson Valley High School Art Department students.

The Veteran’s Day Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library, supplemented with funds from Synergy Federal Credit Union.
