About Us

Bulverde Spring Branch Emergency Services, d.b.a. Bulverde Spring Branch Fire & EMS, is Western Comal County’s 9-1-1 emergency service and our response area covers 216 square miles of the Texas Hill Country. Our service district includes the cities of Bulverde and Spring Branch, along with the remaining unincorporated areas of Comal County. We are a career department of dual trained firefighters and EMT-B (minimum) and operate five stations 24/7 with one back up station. Our advanced technical skills include swift water, high angle, wildland, dive team, cave and confined spaces and active attack integrated response. All personnel train in a nationally recognized bio-skills lab. BSBES also maintains a Community Health Program.
