The Comal Independent School District has hired a Chief of Human Resources. Dr. Randy D. Davis will begin working for the district in this role on Monday, Jan. 6.
With more than 34 years of experience in public education and 24 of those spent in administrative roles including human resources, Davis is excited to continue his work and to serve the students, staff and communities of Comal ISD.
“I look forward to joining Comal ISD and being a part of its continued success,” Davis says.
Most recently, Davis served as the assistant superintendent of human resources for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. His experience includes time in the classroom as a teacher, coach and principal.
“Dr. Davis is a proven leader in public education, and we look forward to having his experience and vision at Comal ISD,” says Comal ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. John E. Chapman III.
Davis and his wife, Gabrielle, have two adult sons and a 22-month-old grandson. His hobbies include camping, hiking, fishing, golf and sporting events.
